A new gameplay trailer for the Treyarch-developed shooter "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" was presented at the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2015, showing off the game's exciting, fast-moving multiplayer mode that gamers will get to partake in soon.

The two-minute long footage was nothing short of exciting, with jumping, headshots, and explosions with drones hovering over the battlefield. There were soldiers able to teleport and shoot enemies with a bow and arrow and with their own arms that basically doubles as a machine gun.

The opposing camps showered each other with a barrage of bullets in several locations — there's a snowy arena, a mountainous battleground housing numerous facilities, and a jungle complete with a waterfall that witnessed the most headshots, both close and long range.

Meanwhile, it was in the same convention where Andrew House, president and Group CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment, revealed that the PlayStation is the "new home" of "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3." After years of partnership with Microsoft, Treyarch directs its allegiance to Sony after the firm won over the marketing deal.

The move was not much of a surprise, however. Weeks back, there emerged some Mountain Dew bottles that had both the "Call of Duty" and the PlayStation branding. Furthermore, the title's absence in Microsoft's conference made things clearer.

Despite Sony winning Treyarch over, "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" will be available to everyone.

"It doesn't change anything," Microsoft exec Kudo Tsunoda told Eurogamer. "Call of Duty is still coming out on Xbox One this year."

PlayStation owners will be the first to get a hold of the post-launch map packs and beta of the game, which is set in the destructive locales of 2095 — where robots take over, high-grade weapons thrive, and war is basically a way of life.

"Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" is scheduled to be released on Nov. 6.
