Activision has finally revealed the release date for the personal computer (PC) and Xbox One version of "Call of Duty: Black Ops III's" Awakening downloadable content (DLC). Fans can expect the update to arrive on Mar. 3, a month after the DLC was first made available to PlayStation 4.

Four new multiplayer maps will be featured in the Awakening DLC pack for both PC and Xbox One. It includes Skyjacked, Rise, Splash, and Gauntlet. In the Skyjacked map, players will be treated to a modern twist to the map called Hijacked featured in "Call of Duty: Black Ops II."

In Rise, players find themselves exploring the snowy borders of Zurich. They will be sharing the environment with an ongoing construction site. There are several ways to interact in this larger map so there will be different gameplay styles players can work with.

The desolate water park in Splash is home to a colorful, water-themed environment. In this map, players can find an abandoned pirate ship, a lazy river, and waterslides. It also offers players the opportunity to explore underwater.

Gauntlet brings the classic map featuring three unique environments. Players will find themselves transported to harsh icy environment, rainy city, and into deep jungles.

Apart from the four maps, Awakening DLC will also include a zombie adventure DLC, Der Eisendrache. The story will continue from the events that transpired in The Giant DLC. Der Eisendrache is set in the Austrian Griffin castle.

Players will go on a four-part journey together with Origin characters Nikolai, Takeo, Richtofen, and Dempsey. On the Griffin castle, players will stumble upon a horrific discovery — large deposits of Element 115. Players will go through this epic journey with interesting surprises as they try to survive a horde of zombies.

"Call of Duty:Black Ops III" Awakening DLC for Xbox One and PC will be available at a discounted price when purchased as part of the game's Season Pass, which sells for $49.99. Individually, the DLC map will cost $15 each.
