'Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare' update, news: Patch notes for game's PC version released

"Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" has finally been released, and the game continues to be a best-seller three weeks after its debut on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4. According to reports, the game currently holds the No. 1 spot in the United Kingdom and is slowly closing in on "Battlefield 1" to become the U.K.'s top shooter game of 2016.

Last week, a new update for "Infinite Warfare" was released, and the full patch notes were released on Steam. The patch deals with multiplayer issues and also makes some changes for the game's Zombies in Spaceland mode, as well as specific updates for the game's PC version.

Here are some of the tweaks and fixes brought by the new patch to the PC version of "Infinite Warfare":

• Add support for raw mouse input.
• Restart game warning has been added to the "Optimal Video" option to warn the player that the game will restart when setting to optimal settings.
• Zombies: move player splash further to the right when off-screen to hide in Ultra widescreen mode on PC.
• Weapon name and rarity are moved to a different position to accommodate the new buttons.

Meanwhile, those who have yet to purchase the game may want to take advantage of this year's Black Friday deals, as a lot of triple-A titles, including "Infinity Warfare," will be up for grabs at discounted rates.

GameStop is running a promotion wherein players can trade in one among a list of games for a copy of "Infinite Warfare" for only a dollar. Some of the games that are qualified for trade in are "Battlefield 1," "Dishonored 2," "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2," "The Elders Scrolls V: Skyrim," and "Watch Dogs 2."

Best Buy is offering the game for only $39.99, while the Legacy Edition is priced at $59.99. Those who prefer the "Infinite Warfare" Legacy Edition Prestige Icon Pack can get it for $74.99.
