'Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered' release date: Multiplayer unveiling coming at Call of Duty XP 2016

Activision announced last week that fans will get to see some multiplayer gameplay action for the remastered version of "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare." The reveal will happen at the Call of Duty XP 2016 fan event, which will also feature the championship round of the game's World League competition.

So far, the company has shown several minutes of gameplay for the single-player mode from the remaster via their official YouTube channel. The trailer was added last July, but new content will be added in a matter of days for the fans that will not be able to join the reveal event. Also, by November, gamers will be able to relive the combat missions of Captain John "Soap" Mac Tavish with a much improved graphics.

Additionally, "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" will be offered as a gift for those who will purchase the "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" Deluxe and Legacy Edition. Acitvision will not be squeezing out another US$60 for this version. Fans who opt to pre-order the game, any version, will also be given the fan favorite Terminal Bonus map and the Zombies in Spaceland Pack that includes weapon camo, animated player card, Fate & Fortune card pack.

Meanwhile, developer Infinity Ward has already carved out the future of the game series. Aside from "Modern Warfare" and "Black Ops" sub series, "Infinity Warfare" will also have its own little world. This was revealed by the company's Taylor Kurosaki during an interview with Polygon.

Kurosaki said, "We want to establish our own new subfranchise, our own new branch of the Call of Duty tree. What we are developing here could certainly support multiple games. We're trying to develop a very rich world that we're not even close to exhausting."

Call of Duty XP 2016 will takes place from Sept. 2 to 4 at Los Angeles, California and will feature the World League Championship, hands-on, and several team activities. Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa will also be joining the event.

"Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" and "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" will be released on Nov. 4 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC.
