Xbox One and PC platform users should rejoice as "Call of Duty: WWII's" first official DLC has finally dropped, bringing with it a whole new chapter to conquer and new maps to explore.

This new expansion pack, as previewed in previous trailers, will include new maps for players to explore with friends -- the Valkyrie, Occupation, and Anthropoid, which are based on actual resistance movements during the First World War.

Besides these three, users can also experience a new war mode map called Operation Intercept -- this new mode will see players rescue French soldiers outside of St. Lo, France who have been captured by the enemies.

And the most notable upgrade inside "Call of Duty: WWII's" DLC pack is the new undead chapter called "The Darkest Shore." Much like zombie chapters in the past, this new storyline will see players battle against Nazi zombie soldiers. It will also include new weapons and more sentient zombies.

The new expansion pack will be included in "Call of Duty: WWII's" Season Pass, which is valued at $50 but, for those who want the DLC as a separate, you can purchase it for $14.99. The DLC pack is now available for the PS4, Xbox One, and the PC platform.

Even before this release on the Xbox One and PC, PlayStation 4 users were able to access the game a month early in January due to dealings between two powerhouses in the game industry -- Sony and Activision. This initial debut left players of the Xbox One and PC hanging for another month.

As of the moment, no further announcements have been released regarding the second DLC pack. But announcements will be made in the coming weeks. With regard to this, the new DLC will also follow the procedure in the first release, which will see PS4 users get a one month earlier release compared to Xbox and PC users.
