Camille Grammer returned to "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" this week as Lisa Vanderpump invited the former Housewife to attend her husband's 70th birthday party. At the event, Taylor Armstrong brought up Yolanda Foster's Lyme disease, saying that she doesn't understand it at all and even seemed to doubt that the former model is truly suffering from the debilitating effects of the disease.

Since the mother of three was diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2012, she has been very open about her condition and would often post pictures of her undergoing various treatments to keep her fans updated and to raise awareness of the disease. In the episode that aired last Tuesday, Taylor brought up Yolanda's Instagram posts and said, "It seems strange to me that she's like, 'happy selfie, sick selfie."

"I'm trying to follow her on Instagram, but I don't like seeing the whole needle in the arm thing all the time. It's a little much," said Taylor.

Camille took to her Bravo blog to defend Yolanda, saying that it was "in poor taste" to question anyone's illness diagnosed through specific testing by a doctor.

The star said that being from the East Coast, she is very familiar with the disease as it is quite common in the area, adding that it may lay dormant and produce flu-like symptoms as well as neurological issues.

Camille has experienced what it's like to battle a disease, as she was diagnosed with Stage 2 endometrial cancer in September 2013. On the blog, she revealed that she underwent chemo, surgery, and radiation therapy and that while she was undergoing treatment, she told her doctors that someone had to get the word out and talk about this type of cancer. At one point, the Housewife was approached by the Foundation for Women's Cancer and was asked to be a spokesperson, and she agreed to do so.

The star said that her battle with cancer made her feel uncomfortable for Yolanda.

"Listening to the chatter questioning the validity of Yolanda's illness is troubling to me," Camille said. "Lyme disease is very debilitating."

"The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
