Canada vs Honduras live stream (TSN TV): Watch online CONCACAF World Cup soccer qualifiers tonight

Canada will play Honduras on Friday in an important CONCACAF World Cup soccer qualifier, and this will be a game that for sure will bring back nightmares for Canadian players and fans. The game has a scheduled start time of 5 p.m. ET and takes place from the Estadio Olimpico Metropolitano in Honduras. The game can be watched on TV on the TSN network or online through live stream via the link below.

Today's game will bring back memories of four years ago, when Canada went into their final of the penultimate round of qualifying requiring just a draw to progress. However, Honduras ruthlessly ended their dreams, going 4-0 up by half-time, and ending the game leaving Canadian hopes in tatters with a shocking 8-1 result.

Canada will not need reminding of how difficult playing in the Central American heat can be, and they will need to come out with a solid game plan to counter the attacking threat of their hosts today.

Honduras will no doubt come out of the blocks with all guns blazing, and attempt to repeat their demolition of Canada from four years ago. So Canada's first priority will be to ensure they don't allow any early goals. If they can soak up the initial pressure and intensity from the Honduras team's play then they will feel they can slowly turn the tie their way.

Canada head coach Benito Floro was installed just eight months after that catastrophic result four years ago, and he will be hoping that over the past three years his team has learned a thing or two, and through their time together they will be now better equipped to going to Central America and getting a result.

Under Floro, Canada have claimed scoreless draws in both Panama City, and El Salvador, and that same resilience and defensive organization will be needed in today's game if they are to come away with anything.

Canada will know that Mexico have already assured their place in the Hexagonal round, which means only one spot remains for the other teams. El Salvador are already out, which means today's game will likely determine who will progress in the other qualification spot in the group.

Today's big game between Canada and Honduras has a scheduled start time of 5 p.m. ET and can be watched on TV on the TSN network. The game can also be watched online through live stream by clicking here.
