Judging from the original source material and the scene shown in the trailer of "Captain America: Civil War," Spider-Man (Tom Holland) will be spending more of his on-screen time with Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) but that doesn't mean he won't have a great scene with Captain America (Chris Evans).

Speaking to IGN, Evans revealed that there will be a short sequence in the film where Captain America and Spider-Man do get to do more than just trade blows against each other. While his comments were very brief and bereft of detail it does give some insight on what was to come.

"Well, I don't want to give too much away but it's brief," the actor explained while trying to avoid giving away any substantial spoiler. "I really love the scene we have together, it's a little brief, a little wink, a little nod. It's nice and I think Tom is phenomenal."

It is widely speculated that this scene happens after the climactic battle shown in the trailer, where both teams face against each other in the airport. If the film follows the same plot structure as the comic book source materials then Spider-Man will switch sides and later join the ranks of Captain America and become one of the latter's best allies.

Given that the film is rumored to have a scene in New York City and that both Captain America and Spider-Man come from New York, it is speculated they'll be going home together.

According to a report from Screen Rant, this ending scene with the two together in New York may be the setup needed for the solo Spider-Man film, "Spider-Man: Homecoming." The solo film will see Spider-Man returning home to New York and exploring his life as he balances being a high-school student and a superhero.

"Captain America: Civil War" opens this May 6.
