Almost every Marvel superhero is showing up in "Captain America: Civil War," which makes it a surefire blockbuster hit. Spider-Man will make his debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe through the movie and members of the Avengers are joining as well. However, nothing is being said about the ardently wished-for inclusion of the Hulk, who many, such as the actor who plays the cult-favorite green brute, hope to see pouncing on some bad guys in the film and even taking sides.

While talking to The Daily Beast, Mark Ruffalo did not make things clear or set the record about it but he definitely made his wish to appear in the film known, saying that he "heard a rumor" about the Hulk's stint in the much-awaited film.

"I haven't seen a script, nobody's told me, and I don't have dates. But I can only hope so!" the actor said, saying out loud what his and the Hulk's fans have in mind. Thankfully, he did reveal that the possibility of him joining the stellar cast is much higher than him skipping the movie.

"I was talking to Robert Downey the other day, and he said, 'Ruffalo! I heard you're coming out here,' and I said, 'OK! I'll be there!'" Ruffalo shared.

By "here," the actor, who plays Iron Man in the growing MCU, meant in Atlanta, where the "Captain America: Civil War" production is in full swing.

The highly-anticipated film pits Captain America against Iron Man in a super-charged warfare instigated by their conflicting viewpoints on their services as superheroes. Black Panther and Ant-Man will be seen in action with War Machine and Crossbones wreaking havoc in the film.

"Captain America: Civil War" will hit the silver screen in May 6, 2016. Production started back in April and there have been leaked set photos and more speculations ever since. Here is the synopsis for the movie:

'Captain America: Civil War' picks up where 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' left off, as Steve Rogers leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain."

Meanwhile, here's Jeremy Renner, who is also joining the fun in the film as Hawkeye, revealing an artwork for the movie.
