Actor Mark Ruffalo previously said that "Iron Man" star Robert Downey Jr. told him that his Marvel Comics character will be in "Captain America: Civil War," but his recent statements prove otherwise. In an interview with Italian movie site Bad Taste, Ruffalo revealed that Dr. Bruce Banner/ Hulk will no longer appear in the upcoming Marvel movie.

"The reason is too great to be revealed in this movie (Civil War)," the 47-year-old actor shared. "I was in the script but then they removed my character. They don't want to reveal where is he and why. I don't even know if Hulk will be back soon." 

Ruffalo portrayed the role of Hulk in 2012's "The Avengers," and he reprised it in the 2013-released "Iron Man 3" and this year's "Avengers: Age of Ultron." But now that the character will be excluded in the list of Avengers who will appear in the star-studded Marvel superhero movie, it means that fans will have to wait for a long time before they will be able to see the ginormous green superhero once again. 

Meanwhile, "Captain America" star Chris Evans talked about the alleged mismatched opposing teams in the upcoming movie. 

In "Captain America: Civil War," the members of the Avengers will be divided because of their opposing views regarding the compulsory registration of superheroes in the government. Captain America/ Steve Rogers believes that the U.S. government's new regulation to enlist those with superhuman abilities will violate their rights, while Tony Stark/ Iron Man claims that there is nothing wrong with that. 

This causes a rift in the team. Falcon (Anthony Mackie), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), the Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan), and Sharon Carter (Emily Van Camp) shows their loyalty to Captain America, while the Black Widow (Scarlett Johannson), War Machine (Don Cheadle), The Vision (Paul Bettany), and the Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) all side with Iron Man. 

This line-up is allegedly a mismatch, according to some speculations, but Evans does not seem to agree.

"Do we?" Evans told MTV. "Well, maybe you'll have to see the movie to find out." 

"Captain America: Civil War" is slated to premiere on May 6, 2016.
