The trailer for "Captain America: Civil War" showcases Colonel Rhodes (Don Cheadle) joining with Tony Stark aka Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) in his fight against Captain Steve Rogers aka Captain America (Chris Evans). However, new reports indicate Rhodes will no longer be known as the War Machine.

New concept art from the film has been released by Total Film (via Comic Book Movie) and the detailed poster lists War Machine as War Hammer. Along with the new name is a short blurb giving fans a short indication of what may happen to Rhodes in the course of the film.

"Old Shellhead's greatest ally, War Hammer (Don Cheadle) looks to get into a spot of bother in Civil War - the film's trailer shows his pulverised body being cradled by a distraught Tony. Could this be the end of the line?" reads the line in the poster.

According to a report from Cinema Blend, there is the possibility that this is merely a typo or a small mistake on behalf of the artist and Total Film. There are no signfiicant superheroes in the Marvel pantheon that has the name War Hammer, a term mostly associated with the Mjolnir.

However, there is the possibility that the name War Hammer will indeed be the name used by Rhodes in the film. He was only officially called War Machine in "Iron Man 2." By the time "Iron Man 3" rolled out he was then referred to as the Iron Patriot. It is likely he will undergo a third name change in "Captain America: Civil War."

War Hammer may be a new name, a military code name, or a referrence to new capabilities of Rhodes' new suit.

The scene described in the blurb shows Iron Man clutching Rhodes in his arms, with the latter defeated and presumeably either dead or passed out.
