Two major deaths will mark the beginning and the end of the upcoming Marvel film "Captain America: Civil War." The movie will begin with a funeral, and end with a funeral.

Early reports by ComicBook.com stated that Chris Evans (Captain America) and Emily VanCamp (Agent 13) were both spotted shooting a scene in an Atlanta synagogue which was refurbished to appear as a London church. It was then speculated that the movie would include the funeral of Agent Carter, played by Hayley Atwell, Captain America's World War II sweetheart.

But another recent leak has pointed to yet another major character kill-off to happen in the upcoming "Captain America: Civil War," and that will be the death of Captain America himself. According to The Hashtag Show episode, the movie will end with Steve Roger's funeral, which will be a devastating ending for all heroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The cause of Roger's death will be a heroic sacrifice that Cap makes after he makes a deal with the government to provide political amnesty to his comrades and is later on killed. This rumour is in line with the comic book storyline, where Captain America dies in the same manner.

After the death of Rogers, it is highly likely that the character of Captain America will be perpetuated by recently restored Buck Barnes (the Winter Soldier), although other rumours indicate that the Falcon or Agent 13 could also possibly take on the role.

However, it just may not be the end of Steve Rogers as Captain America. In the comic book series, "Captain America: Reborn," Steve Rogers is revealed to be not dead but would rather later return as the leader of the Avengers.

The Marvel franchise has killed off and resurrected various main characters before, and if Rogers is to die in "Civil War," it's likely that he will be brought back to life in time for "Avengers: Infinity War."

"Captain America: Civil War" is set to hit theatres on May 6, 2016.
