According to a report from Cinema Blend, "Captain America: Civil War" will have someone other than Thor pick up and use Mjolnir, the hammer given to Thor by his father Odin. 

The report states that a SuperHeroHype user known as Charleswelsh snuck into the set of the film during production and saw someone dressed as Captain America holding a prop that looked similar to Mjolnir while they were shooting a stunt scene. The informer was allegedly unable to identify if this was actor Chris Evans or a stunt double. 

According to this report, the message board user also saw the crew film a scene where Captain America and Scarlet Witch, played by Elizabeth Olsen, were fighting a group of soldiers at the Atlantic Civic Center, which was re-designed to appear as the Institute for Infectious Diseases. 

As pointed out by the report from Cinema Blend, these claims have not been verified at this point and neither Marvel Studios nor Disney has confirmed or denied the scenes in question. 

If true, then it wouldn't be the first time that someone else has used Thor's hammer. Thus far in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Vision has been the only one to lift the hammer with ease although Captain America was able to make it budge during Tony Stark's party in "Avengers: Age of Ultron." 

The report also points out that actor Chris Hemsworth, who plays Thor, is not slated to be in "Civil War" and his absence will be explained in "Thor: Ragnarok." However, the character may appear for a cameo and this might give Steve Rogers aka Captain America the chance to use the hammer. 

According to the report, the comics on which "Civil War" is based also features a character named Ragnarok, who is in fact Thor's clone. Captain America is able to use this clone's version of Mjolnir. While unlikely, this may still occur in the films. 

"Captain America: Civil War" will be released in theaters on May 6, 2016.
