The Black Panther's participation in "Captain America: Civil War" is still unclear, but if there's one thing that the King of Wakanda will never do in the much-awaited superhero flick, it would have to be choosing a side. 

The Black Panther will be in the highly-anticipated film, not to team up with either Steve Rogers or Tony Stark but to simply be formally implanted in the growing Marvel Cinematic Universe. In an interview with Superhero Hype, Marvel president Kevin Feige revealed just how it will be done. 

"In the case of 'Civil War,' we needed a third party. We needed a character who wasn't on either Captain America or Iron Man's side," Feige explains. He then added that the studio found it "smart to have him fill this role we need in Civil War and introduce him here first." 

Simply put, the Black Panther's key to the MCU is showing up in "Captain America: Civil War" as the mediator, whose interests won't involve what Steve Rogers and Tony Stark are brawling about.

"So it always just depends on the story and the way we want to tell the story," Feige added. 

His entrance is much like Spider-Man's. The web-slinger will also be introduced in the third Cap-centered film but, as opposed to the comics where he acted as the intermediary, Spider-Man will be making a cameo appearance before doing a solo film. 

In other "Captain America: Civil War" related news, actor Daniel Bruhl, who is set to play the role of Captain America's rival Baron Zemo, was spotted on set. Although he wasn't in costume, as seen in the photo of Atlanta Filming, the takeaway here is that there won't be a lot of changes in his appearance.

"Captain America: Civil War" is set for release on May 6, 2o16. The film will feature a stellar ensemble, including Ant-Man, whose movie starring Paul Rudd is slated to hit the big screen in the less than two weeks.
