'Captain America: Civil War' plot: Team Captain America and Team Iron Man don new costumes

New pieces of promo art for "Captain America: Civil War" were released at the recently concluded New York Toy Fair, where toys inspired by the film were also unveiled. The first promo art features both sides battling it all out in the upcoming Marvel film.

The artwork showed both the "Captain America: Civil War" teams donning new costumes they used just for this epic warfare. The figures showcased in the Toy Fair also provided an exclusive look at what the characters will look like in the next film for Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Anthony Mackie, who plays Falcon, was particularly excited about his new garb. During an interview with Hey U Guys, the actor revealed that he always encounters the question of "[how] your costume [is] different from the last movie."

"The first is just literally all of us checking out each other's costumes," Mackie explained. "When your team comes out with a new uniform, the first thing you're gonna do is run and go get that uniform," he added. The star did not detail how the tweaks done in his "Captain America: Civil War" costume.

Another "Captain America: Civil War" artwork provided by Comicbook Movie featured Team Captain America looking ready for some throwdown. Along with the cap, The Winter Soldier, Antman, Falcon, Sharon Carter aka Agent 13 and Hawkeye were shown springing to action.

"Captain America: Civil War" boasts an impressive roster and will follow a famous and well-loved storyline in the Marvel Comics wherein the superheroes are required to register to the government and take accountability of the damage done during their fights.

While everyone seems to be connected to one team, as seen in the "Captain America: Civil War" trailer that dropped not too long ago, Scarlet Witch is said to be change sides. The "Captain America: Civil War" is yet to establish her stand.

The other bigger secret yet to be revealed about the upcoming Marvel blockbuster is which team Spider-Man chooses to join. It has already been confirmed that Tom Holland will be in the movie but even the costume he will be donning as the wallcrawler remains a big secret.

"Captain America: Civil War" will hit the theaters on May 6, 2016.
