Caribbean Gospel Festival Broadcast Live to UK

Premier Christian Radio is supporting a huge Caribbean Gospel celebration that will take place over the next nine days. GospelFest – which will take place in Barbados promises to be a lively event from which praise and worship can flourish greatly.

The thirteenth GospelFest will continue for nine days – five of which will feature live music performances – and be broadcast live on UK-based Premier Radio.

Muyiwa Olarewaju, who hosts Premier’s Gospel Tonight programme will broadcast live from the top music and worship festival, which will include music acts from all over the world including Grammy Award winner, Dr Helen Baylor.

After travelling to Barbados to join the festivities in person, Muyiwa will stream live back to Premier’s listeners. Muyiwa said, “Short of getting up and going to Barbados, listening to my show on Premier will be the best way to experience some of our finest Gospel acts performing live.”

He continued, “It’s a great opportunity for me, for Premier and our listeners. I want to bring the whole feel of the festival to those listening in the UK so they can experience the spirit of GospelFest.”

Over the 13 years that GospelFest has taken place it has continued to grow in size and reputation – reports Premier Radio. Even though last year Hurricane Ivan struck the region in September, promoters have praised the festival’s spiritual strength and its pro-active approach in organising this 2005 event.

According to Premier Radio, Gospel Tonight – where listeners can tune into the festival, will be broadcast every night from 11pm.
