Christian country singer Carrie Underwood definitely had a busy 2015 since she juggled pregnancy, childbirth, and motherhood along with her singing career. She also promoted her new fitness clothing line and even accommodated hosting gigs left and right.

This 2016, however, Underwood's schedule is poised to become even more brutal. Underwood shared with E! News that she is planning to support her husband Mike Fisher in his upcoming games and iron out her tour schedule at the same time.

"I always look forward to hockey season, of course, my husband plays hockey," she said. "It's going to be a really busy, wonderful year for me. We have a lot of tour stuff to plan, so January is going to be all about the tour for me and getting everything perfect before we go out. It's going to be a good year this year, I think!"

Because of all her commitments, Underwood rarely has any time left for herself, so any chance she gets to stay home and bond with her family is a real treat for the singer.

"I don't get too much of a chance these days to kick back and or relax," she explained. "But at the end of my day, it's just really nice to be able to take off all my makeup, put something comfortable on — sweatpants or something — and just kind of breathe. Watching TV for a minute is nice, just kicking back with my husband and just kind of getting ready for bed is one of my favorite parts of the day."

Underwood loves getting all dolled up for events, but if she's out running errands, she prefers keeping things simple. "Being a busy mom, everything needs to be as simple as possible when it comes to my beauty routine because it's rare that I actually get a decent amount of time to get myself ready," she said. "But if there is one thing I'm going to do it's probably going to be my eyes."
