The new episode of "Castle" titled "The Wrong Stuff" will see partners in love and crime-solving Rick Castle and Kate Beckett don some spacesuits. However, they are not to embark on a mission to glorify the enormity of the universe. The duo will have to crack a new case that involves the mind-boggling murder of an astronaut.

The victim was prepping up for a voyage to Mars. Before he could make it to the neighboring planet, he was killed by someone Rick and Kate are now after. The astronaut was found lifeless in a sealed simulation chamber that is almost impossible to burst through. From the looks of it, not one person can pull off such murder from inside or outside the mechanism.

Viewers will see the lovebirds take a break from the bloody mayhem that transpired in the previous episode and there is no better way to do that than a out of town or out of this world trip.

Meanwhile, executive producer David Amann dished out in an interview with TV Guide that an episode that is basically all about Ryan is just around the corner and as a heads up, it will be one "dramatic" installment.

"He's been moonlighting working security and he's protecting an important person. Something goes horribly awry while he's doing it, and he gets embroiled in trying to find out what exactly happened," Amann told TV Guide.

Viewers also brood over Ryan and Kate's future as a couple, raising questions whether a "Castle" baby might be on the way. Amann revealed that "Beckett is looking ahead."

"She's trying to figure out what her next step is and that encompasses family. She's been driven for the better part of her adult life by the death of her mother, which is now resolved, the showrunner explained to TV Guide in another interview. "Her relationship with Castle is settled, so she's at a place now where she really needs to be thinking about, 'What does she want that future to be?' It seems like children are going to naturally be a part of that discussion," Amann went on to reveal.

But it appears that a solid future for the two is still shadowy. So in the meantime, fans can get a load of the couple's crime-fighting feats in "The Wrong Stuff," which will air today, Feb. 23.
