'Castle' season 7: Next season's episode 1 title revealed

The title of the first episode of the seventh season of TV series "Castle" is finally revealed.

According to reports, the title of premiere episode is "Driven" and reportedly will focus on Kate's efforts in unearthing who was behind the car crash and sudden disappearance of her fiancé Rick Castle.

The previous season concluded with Rick's horrible car accident while he was on his way to his wedding with Kate Beckett. A mysterious car was tailing Rick's car and caused the accident. The bride-to-be of the show's protagonist will try to get the bottom of everything and will conduct her own investigation.

Kate will do some investigation on her own to find out who was behind the accident as she thinks that it was planned, according to show runner David Amman and fellow executive producer Andrew Marlowe.

"She's [Beckett] committed to getting to the bottom of what happened with Castle. That's really her focus and her mission. She's going to do that, and she's going to take that as far as she can go to get answers. That's what she's focused on," producer David Amann said in an interview with Give Me My Remote.

Previous reports also claimed that Rick's car crash will not be resolved right away. It will take a few episodes to be answered. However, Kate's investigation will not be the main arc next season.

Meanwhile, two new guest stars are set to join the cast of the show's next season. The two will appear in season seven's third episode entitled "Clear and Present Danger". Actor Chad Collins will play the role of Tom Talmadge, the entrepreneur of a start-up tech company, who encounters mysterious circumstances. Rebecca Wisocky is also set to appear as a guest star in the said episode as Dr. Elena Sarkov, the lead scientist at a cutting-edge research lab, whom the team consults when a pool shark is murdered by a mysterious unseen force.

"Castle" season 7 will be back on air on September 29, 9PM on ABC.
