The CES 2015 is all set to kick off this week in Las Vegas and techies are certainly getting impatient on what kind of devices and gadgets are set to be on hand. But this early it can be told that a lot of wearable devices and connective solutions will be on hand from the approximately 3,500 companies who are expected to show off their gadgets.

One thing that is for sure though, the event seems to be banking on a "connect everything" theme. Ranging from cars to homes, such is something that has become common these days as we see the continued evolution of technology and its adaptation to homes.

Connected cars? Well considering that there are car manufacturers on hand in CES 2015 practically tells you that their upcoming lineup of vehicles will have a thing or two to show as far as technology is concerned.

Practically all leading car brand manufacturers are over there right now. That includes Audi, BMW, Toyota and even Mercedes Benz. So how would they be connected? Well you have heard about self-driving cars already by now so an actual demo of how it will be done is to be expected.

How about connected homes? Ranging from security to door openers, the enhancements that people can do with their homes will be on tap at CES 2015. Aside from doors and security, other products which could be shown include that of energy or water saving devices to help address consumers' utility expenses.

Other that being "connected" robotics and wearable devices are expected to take center stage. Amogn the wearable include of course the highly touted Apple Watch which should signal a new dawn of devices from the traditional mobile phones available these days.

Better pixilated TV sets are also set to be introduced. The era of 1080 pixel TV could be ending soon and in their place…4K television! Imagine a TV that stretches up to 4,000 pixels wide? Now that would translate to better pictures and videos right? Now that is something to watch out for!
