Charlie Hunnam death hoax: 'Sons of Anarchy' star not dead, still filming season 7

Have you heard about the passing of "Sons of Anarchy" star Charlie Hunnam? This is not true, he is merely a victim of a death hoax. Hunnam is alive, kicking and currently filming the season 7 of the show.

According to TMZ, Hunnam "isn't happy with the people who fake killed him on the internet this month... telling us it as really bad form." The death hoax stated that Hunnam was killed in a car crash freak accident.

Hunnam, 34, plays SAMCRO's President Jax Teller in "Sons of Anarchy." Fans went into a frenzy when they learned about his fake death. Even Hunnam's friends freaked out about the news and called him up to confirm.

"At about 11 a.m. ET on Saturday (June 28, 2014), our beloved actor Charlie Hunnam passed away. Charlie Hunnam was born on April 10, 1980, in Newcastle upon Tyne. He will be missed but not forgotten. Please show your sympathy and condolences by commenting on and liking this page," reads the 'About' page on the Facebook page that started the death hoax. The said Facebook page has gained 1 million 'likes' already and condolences poured in the same page.

A representative of Hunnam cleared the rumor saying "He joins the long list of celebrities who have been victimized by this hoax. He's still alive and well, stop believing what you see on the internet." You can breathe a sigh of relief now.

Now that the death rumor is done with, fans of "Sons of Anarchy" can expect a bigger and bolder season 7. Hunnam will be back playing Jax, who was recently seen wearing an orange jumpsuit on the set. It is speculated that Jax Teller is in prison. Just Jared shared a bunch of photos from the filming of "SOA" season 7.

"Sons of Anarchy" Season 7 will be the final one. It will return on FX this September.
