Jeremy Lin praised by Michael Jordan

Jeremy Lin is looking to prove himself, but it seems that he has started to impress despite the fact that the NBA is just in the preseason portion of the upcoming season.

As everyone knows, Lin didn't exactly hit it big with the Los Angeles Lakers last year. He opted to join the Charlotte Hornets, and it looks like it is slowly reaping rewards.

Lin was, of course, on hand when the Hornets played the Los Angeles Clippers right at his own turf in China, but it seems that his good showing likewise drew the admiration of team owner Michael Jordan.

Jordan sees Lin as a big acquisition, singling out his on-court savvy which could be a big boost to the Hornets' 2015–16 campaign.

Although many felt that Lin would have a hard time since the Hornets were filled with guards that could pose problems in balancing playing time, Lin proved his worth when he poured in 16 points for the Hornets in the preseason matchup.

Of course, all this will change once the regular season kicks off, but judging by the way Jordan put it, he expects Lin to play a major role for the 2015–16 NBA season.

Consistency will be key, something that Lin may have to ensure. Along with Nicolas Batum, another new face, both are proving to be good additions which will hopefully result in a productive season for the Hornets under the ample guidance of head coach Steve Clifford.

Lin is likely to find himself coming off the bench; but if he proves to be someone deserving to start perhaps at the off guard position, Clifford could tinker with the Hornets starting lineup and insert the Asian-American Harvard standout.

Will this be the start of the return of Linsanity? Well, Michael Jordan seems to see it that way.
