Chart success for Laura Story

It's a good year so far for Laura Story - the songwriter who penned one of the church's best loved worship songs, "Indescribable", made famous by Chris Tomlin.

She's nominated for female vocalist of the year at this year's Dove Awards and her new single, "Blessings", topped the Christian singles chart on iTunes last year.

The track shares the title of her forthcoming album release, Blessings, which is out on April 12.

The song can already be heard on her website, www.laurastorymusic.com, and she explains more about it in this video on YouTube

The album is produced by Nathan Nockels (Passion, Chris Tomlin) and follows on from her critically acclaimed 2008 debut release, Great God Who Saves. That album won her "Inspirational Album of the Year" at the 2009 Dove Awards.

This year's Dove Awards take place on April 20 at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia.
