Voight (Jason Beghe) will ask the help of a former cellmate to solve a case in the upcoming episode of the NBC series "Chicago P.D."

In "Looking Out for Statesville," TV Guide reports that he will take the criminal as his confidential informant (CI) to take down a big time cocaine supplier. Voight has been known in the series as a dirty cop. His unconventional ways of interrogating felons have drawn ire from the higher ups. He was once arrested for beating a suspect to get information. In an episode in 2012, Voight was sent to prison for harassing Lt. Casey (Jesse Spencer) from the "Chicago Fire." His son was the driver in an ugly accident. Casey was the first one in the scene and Voight tried to stop him from filing a case of driving under influence (DUI).

It is quite clear that Voight remained in touch with his friends back in prison. This time, he will use a cellmate to get classified information on his target. Eddie (Clancy Brown) just came out of Statesville and he paid Voight a visit. When they were having dinner together, he asked the officer if it was possible to become his CI. Voight told him to take it easy for a little while before even thinking of working for the police. It now appears that he has found the right job for Eddie. Will his CI be able to get him the data that he needs?

Last episode, Lindsay (Sophia Bush) was almost sexually assaulted while investigating a robbery/rape case. A family's home was robbed and vandalized, while the members were drugged. The 14-year-old daughter was also raped. The entire team tracked down the intruders to make them pay for what they did. Soon, a lead surfaced. Another incident with the same modus operandi was reported to the police. The woman said she was raped but did not see the perpetrator.

It turned out she was working with the criminals. When Lindsay was alone with her, her other friends mugged her. One even tried to rape her. Fortunately, Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer) arrived on time and stopped what could have been a nightmare for Lindsay.

"Chicago P.D." season 3 airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. on NBC.
