Chicago Bulls news 2015: Derrick Rose injured again?

Each time Derrick Rose goes down, there will be anxious moments. It has been a familiar sight with most Chicago Bulls fans holding their breath, hoping that the former Most Valuable Player (MVP) does not fall to yet another season-ending injury.

Rose went down again midway in the fourth quarter match between the Bulls and the Indiana Pacers. He rolled his ankle as a result of him trying to go out of bounds.

Already hampered by vision problems, Rose says that the ankle sprain is nothing to be alarmed about, terming it as a regular ankle sprain. By that he meant that his ankle was expectedly sore but was more thankful that he didn't break or tear anything with the incident.

While Rose did not return for that match, it remains to be seen if he will be up and ready when the Bulls face the Phoenix Suns in their next outing, although Rose claims that he is able to walk right now.

The Bulls, currently toting a 7–3 card, could opt to rest Rose against the Suns, although that would be the call of coach Fred Hoiberg. The Suns aren't pushovers so depending on how Rose holds up, there could be a chance that he will play some minutes but not as extensive.

"It's an ankle sprain, and he was limping around in the locker room," said Bulls coach Fred Hoiberg, according to CSN Chicago. "We don't know how severe it is," he added.

The ankle injury adds to Rose's list of woes which are, of course, led no less by his double-vision problems which may not be resolved at least for the next couple of months. Paired with some less than 100% ankles, the Bulls could do well to at least sit him out for just one game to avoid aggravating the state of his ankles.

Despite the double vision issues, Rose has been undoubtedly trying his best to play through it and that showed against the Pacers. Before being taken out, he had 23 points and six assists in 33 minutes of play.
