Casey (Jesse Spencer) wants to back out from his candidacy as alderman in the upcoming episode of the NBC series "Chicago Fire."

In "Two Ts," Hollywood Hills reports that the lieutenant will be rattled to discover that a propaganda that is being circulated in the city is attacking his campaign. This will make him want to reconsider whether or not he really wants to run for the position. In the first place, Casey did not want to become a candidate, but his colleagues at Firehouse 51 pushed him to accept the offer. He was touched that his friends believed in his capability to promote change that he set aside his doubts and run for alderman.

Even when Casey learned that some individuals were already planning to use him and the position for their own greed, he still did not back out. This time, though, the citywide hoopla is making him review whether being a candidate is worth it. He has never received so much hate in his life before and the bad feeling is getting to him. Will Casey decide to drop his candidacy and just focus on his current work as a firefighter?

Meanwhile, news that a car is burning in a neighborhood will quickly spread. The squad will hurry to extinguish the fire upon seeing that someone is trapped inside. Investigation suggests that it is no accident. But when the firefighters begin to ask around, they are met with silence.

In the promo, several onlookers are calmly watching the car burn, while Casey and his team are doing their best to extricate the victim. When Casey asks if they saw anything, they just stared at him. Who are they trying to protect?

"Chicago Fire" season 4 episode 16 will air on Tuesday, Feb. 23, at 10 p.m. EST on NBC.
