A member of the squad will be in grave danger come "Chicago Fire" season 5 episode 2, where a car accident takes a turn for the worse.

Titled "A Real Wake-Up Call," episode 2 will see the team respond to a call about a vehicular accident. As they went about their job, the already burning vehicle explodes.

The promo for "Chicago Fire" season 5 episode 2 suggests that one of the firefighters caught fire after the explosion, leaving him badly injured and bedridden.

It is being kept a secret as to who it was, but fans speculate that it is Jimmy (Steve R. McQueen). The accident is believed to have been foreshadowed as the chief told him he was not ready to be back in action.

Jimmy sees Boden (Eamonn Walker) as the person responsible for his brother's death, so he would not listen to the guy. This could definitely take their feud to a whole new level in "Chicago Fire" season 5.

With Jimmy convinced that his brother's death was on Boden, it will be interesting to see what that confrontation would be like. The "Chicago Fire" season 5, episode 2 promo sees Boden at the bedside of the badly injured firefighter.

Speaking to TV Line, executive producer Michael Brandt said that things will get "about as ugly as it can get" for the two in "Chicago Fire" season 5.

"Jimmy passionately and emotionally feels that Boden was responsible for the death of his brother. Boden knows he did the right thing, and neither one is willing to give in. The two of them take it to the extreme, and it all plays out in the first couple of episodes and does not end happily," Brandt warned.

Whether or not Jimmy was the one who ends up in a hospital in "Chicago Fire" season 5 episode 2, fans are bound to find out this week.

"Chicago Fire" season 5 episode 2, "A Real Wake-Up Call," is scheduled to air on Tuesday, Oct. 18, at 10 p.m. on NBC.
