"Chicago Fire" season 5 episode 5 is going to see Casey (Jesse Spencer) and Severide (Taylor Kinney) get into a feud, and Dawson (Monica Raymund) is going to get into legal trouble when she injures a pedestrian while driving the ambulance.

The official trailer for the episode showcases a large fire that ends up killing a woman. One of the witnesses states that the woman's husband was responsible and that he wanted to murder her. To this end, Casey agrees and states that he thinks the fire was an arson case.

However, Severide does not agree with this, and it is implied throughout the trailer that the fire was caused by an accident. He also explains that he thinks the husband may have been trying to save his wife instead of pushing her to her death.

The ramifications of both conclusions could pinpoint on who to blame for the damages, injuries, and deaths.

As Casey and Severide fight over what may have caused the fire and what may have truly happened to the husband and wife, Dawson and Brett (Kara Kilmer) will be getting side-tracked with a road accident. As per the official synopsis on TV.com, they'll have to deal with a teenage boy who gets run over during a "romantic homecoming proposal."

Cartermatt reveals that the teenage boy was hit by none other than Dawson. As she and Brett continue to treat the patient, they'll also have to deal with the legal ramifications of their actions. This will particularly be devastating for Dawson given she was the one behind the wheel.

The synopsis also details that Chief Boden (Eamonn Walker) is going to have a surprise visitor this episode. Cartermatt expands on this and states he is going to be attending a function in New York, and it is likely that the visitor was the person carrying the invitation.
