Reese's (Rachel DiPillo) anxiety about a sex trafficking victim that sought help from her continues in the next episode of "Chicago Med" season 2, "Inherent Bias."

In the previous episode, Reese was approached by Danny (guest star Nick Marini) about his situation, which then led the doctor to enlist the help of Detective Lindsay (Sophia Bush).

Danny is still in the hospital come "Chicago Med" season 2 episode 7, where Reese can watch over him as Lindsay deals with the case. The detective will be back in this installment again as she continues the investigation.

The promotional stills from the episode show Lindsay speaking to both Reese and the troubled young teen. Whether or not she bears good news, remains to be seen.

Meanwhile, "Chicago Med" season 2 episode 7 will also see two doctors determine the best course of action for their two patients in urgent need of saving.

Following the divorce with her husband, Sharon Goodwin (S. Epatha Merkerson) meets an old flame in the next episode of "Chicago Med" season 2, but in the worse condition possible.

Goodwin urges the hospital to do everything they can to keep her childhood sweetheart alive, even if it means breaking the law.

While Choi (Brian Tee) knows that there is a procedure to do the trick, most patients do not get out of it alive, something that he tries to make Goodwin understand as seen in the upcoming episode's promo.

However, Goodwin will urge him to do whatever it takes for her great love to get out of this problem alive. The way Choi said it, chances of survival are not exactly nil, and she will count on that.

Charles (Oliver Platt) is also in the same situation as Choi in "Chicago Med" season 2 episode 7, although this time, it is Rhodes (Colin Donnell) he is dealing with.

A young woman with a heart infection could die unless Rhodes does something. This procedure will need consent and the lack of it means what Rhodes will be doing is merely assault.

However, the upcoming episode's synopsis suggests that he will discard what Charles says and will take matters into his own hands.

Where will these decisions lead them and their patients? Fans will find out when "Chicago Med" season 2 episode 7, "Inherent Bias," airs on Thursday, Nov. 3, at 9 p.m. ET on NBC.
