Chris Brown has finally responded to ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran's accusations that her tumultuous relationship with him affected her career.

In an interview with BBC last month, Tran said that negative things were always being brought up about her.

"A lot of people were like, 'She's only famous because of Chris Brown,'" she said. She revealed that she and the R&B singer no longer stay in touch and that a lot of people thought that she was "weak" because of past situations with her ex.

Tran also explained that because of the way people perceived her, some people in the business didn't want to be associated with her.

"A lot of people think I'm a weak individual because of past situations and when it comes to business sometimes people don't want to be involved with someone like that," she said.

In a recent interview with Hot 97 radio host Nessa via (Urban Islandz), Brown responded to the model's comments and said that he accepts it if anything he did affected anybody's career.

"If I did hinder anybody's job, anything that I have done with anybody, I make my mistakes and I am totally in acceptance of any wrongs that I have done," said the singer. Without mentioning Tran's name, Brown added that he only wished and hoped for the best "for that person" and anyone else whose jobs were impacted negatively by his actions.

Tran and Brown dated on and off for four years before the model ended their relationship earlier this year. It was reported that the 27-year-old broke up with the "Ayo" singer when she read on the celebrity site TMZ that he has fathered a child with another woman. A few weeks after the website's revelation, Brown confirmed that he has a daughter named Royalty by posting pictures of the baby on his Instagram account.

Brown said to Hot 97 that being a father changed his life for the better.

"I can't be perfect, but she's helping me to shape my actual decisions and my actual consciousness," he said.
