"Captain America" actor Chris Evans and ex-girlfriend Jenny Slate have officially gotten back together. Apart from exciting their fans, the news also proves that the rumors were true. Sources have speculated that Slate and Evans were seeing each other once again back in October.

In a report by Entertainment Tonight, Evans and Slater broke up in January earlier this year. At that time, they had been dating for just under a year, but the two had nothing but good things to say about each other whenever they would be confronted by the media regarding their break up. Earlier this month, Slate had revealed that she was indeed dating someone, but did not disclose the identity of her new boyfriend.

Of course, as it turns out it was Evans, which was the hunch of fans and netizens in the first place. On top of that, fans were also quick to recognize Slate's voice in the background of some of the videos that Evans released on his social media. People has reported that both Slate and Evans looked extremely happy about getting back together. They have already been seen together in Atlanta, after Evans just finished filming for "The Avengers."

Fortunately, the break up did not ruin their friendship, and it seems that the two have been keeping in touch ever since they broke it off — which is why they were able to get back together in less than a year.
