Chrissy Teigen revealed she will be having a baby boy with her husband, singer John Legend.

In an Instagram post, Teigen announced that they are expecting a baby boy. The post was made following the couple's attendance at the 2018 Grammy awards in New York on Jan. 28. She used the caption "mama and her baby boy," in the post-Grammys photo showing her baby bump while wearing the silver gown she wore at the awards.

The two have had difficulty conceiving and have used In Vitro Fertilization (IVF). Their first child, one-year-old Luna Stephens, was also conceived using the same procedure. The couple have been criticized for not conceiving their children "naturally." In an interview with Newsweek, Legend opened up about their struggle with fertility issues. He said that despite some people criticizing those who are using IVF, conception, using the procedure, becomes attainable for people who are not able to achieve such the natural way.

Since the couple is using IVF, they are aware of the gender of their upcoming baby. Teigen told E! News on Jan. 18 that she and Legend decided to keep the gender of the baby a secret for a while because Legend asked her to do so. The right time for the couple to announce the baby's gender finally came on the night of the Grammys.

Other than the gender of the baby, other details regarding Teigen's pregnancy are kept under tight wraps, including how far along she is. As for her second child's possible name, Teigen hinted some options as early as Dec. 29. In a tweet, she said, "Jesus Christ my baby will have no name," accompanied by a photo of a list of Unisex baby names including the names Ash, Aspen, Basil, Bay, Berry Blaze, Brook/Brooke, and Cedar. Legend had the opportunity to name their first child and it is now Teigen's turn to pick a name for their baby.
