Christian Alternative for MySpace.com Created

|TOP|A Christian version of MySpace.com has been created, inviting thousands of Christians to network in a safe and pure environment.

Xianz.com, a ‘Christian alternative,’ has been opened to the public since May. The site also provides a rapidly growing outlet for Christian music artists to reach their fans.

The online gathering of thousands of believers has provided the appropriate environment for artists like Sonic Flood, Chris Rice, Darlene Zschech, Hillsong United, and a host of other Christian bands and artists.

"We at INO Records are excited about Xianz.com. We are looking forward to watching the community grow and serve as an outlet for our artists and their ministry," says Amy Eubanks, Director of New Media at INO Records. INO’s roster includes Mercy Me, Chris Rice, The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir, Disciple, Mark Harris, and several other high profile artists.|AD|

As 90 million people use MySpace.com around the world, vulnerable users have fallen victim to predators, who have assaulted, abducted and, in some cases, murdered the people they meet online. In addition, thousands of teens and young adults have been led to moral corruption through the images and people they interacted with online.

Prolific American author and speaker Vicky Courtney wrote in her website: “A year ago, I felt like I was the lone voice in the wilderness crying out over the dangers of MySpace.com. I was tipped off to the site by a fellow mum who shared a heart-breaking tale of how a “good girl” in the church youth group had uploaded provocative pictures of herself on her MySpace page.”

Robbie Davidson, founder of Xianz.com, says, "We wanted to provide a safe environment where Christians can really have a sense of community and fellowship. You would be amazed at the emails and testimonials I am getting on a daily basis from people who feel like that have finally found a home online."

In addition to Christian Music pages, Xianz provides many other topics of interest including writer’s forums, various hobby discussions, and personal blogs.
