Christian Resources Exhibition Draws Hundreds of UK Christian Organisations

The Christian Resources Exhibition will commence on Tuesday and continue from 10th May to 13th May 2005. The exhibition will provide the opportunity to gain essential knowledge and information regarding 350 Christian organisations and companies focused on the needs of the Church.

During the CRE, several exhibitors will introduce their latest campaigns and activities, such as The Churches Child Protection Advisory Service (CCPAS)'s programme for former sex offenders. The first-ever training programme, partly funded by the Department for Education and Skills follows the success of Christian work in prisons and other initiatives.

Besides the exhibitors introducing their services and campaigns to the broad Christian society, there will be many seminars and workshops connected to several topics, such as culture - seminars led by Damaris Ministry team will focus on how to make the gospel message relevant in the context of contemporary culture.

The Church Pastoral Aid Society will host seminars aiming to help improve the ministry work, looking at all-age ministry. This year's keynote speaker is Tony Campolo, Professor Emeritus of Sociology at Eastern University in St. Davids, Pennsylvania and founder of the Evangelical Association for the Promotion of Education (EAPE).

Among the other speakers are Nick Pollard, Gerald Coates, Rob Frost, Cliff Keeys, Adrian & Bridget Plass, Nicky & Sila Lee and many others.

Another possibility of how to spend time during the exhibition is to enjoy the talents of Christian artists who will perform at the CRE each day. Performances include music, dance and comedy performances. Among the highlights of Arts Theatre are Delirious?, Moya Brennan and Graham Kendrick.
