Christmas Message is preached to Kids across UK

In the last two weeks running up to Christmas, Operation Mobilisation's LUKE mission teams will be going to primary schools across central England to present the message about the roots of Christmas.

As the true biblical meaning of Christmas has been blocked by so many physical attractions in the modern age, OM has the vision to re-evangelise the people in the UK to realise the significance of this joyful festival. First of all, the team, known as the Kids 'n' Things teams, will reach out to the youngest and educate them the truth.

The team, consists of members from the UK, Sweden, Netherlands and South Korea, will be doing 30 presentations of their Christmas program "The Boxing Day Boy" reaching up to 900 children a day.

Using puppets, gospel conjuring, story telling, music and clowning, the team catches the attention of children aged 5 to 11 years old. Hopefully, the approach will also stimulate adults alike and cause many to think again about a celebration that, for many, has lost its Christian roots.

The Kids 'n' Things ministry of OM LUKE was launched in 1988. It aims to present the Christian message in a way that children can understand, relate and respond to by using a variety of creative skills. Nowadays, it reaches up to 20,000 children each year, mainly in schools and churches.

LUKE stands for "Love U.K. Evangelism", its vision is to make Christ known throughout the UK, in partnership with the Church. OM LUKE serves the UK church by providing evangelism training, manpower and specialist evangelism skills.
