Singer Ciara is in a happy place with her relationship with boyfriend Russell Wilson, who is the quarterback for the Seattle Seahawks. It helps that the two are crazily in love with one another. Their relationship even took an extra boost when they decided to abstain from sex before marriage.

A lot of fans are curious how the two are faring with their abstinence pledge. When PEOPLE asked Ciara if she's having any difficulty committing to it, the singer happily answered, "No, it's not hard at all."

"He's an awesome guy and a very confident guy. Just like I feel like I'm a woman that knows what I want, he's a man who knows what he wants," she added.

Ciara said they are taking their abstinence pledge seriously. "It's just a fun new chapter in life for me," she said. "We talk about everything, and I think that's what you should be able to do as people and partners in a relationship. So, that's what makes it really beautiful."

Another question that Ciara has been receiving relentlessly concerns her possible engagement with Wilson. The singer is still ring-free, and she reiterated her earlier statement that marriage will come in God's perfect timing.

"It's so funny how people put so much pressure on that kind of stuff; you know. It will happen when it's supposed to," she said.

Her relationship with Wilson is quite different from the one she shared with rapper Future, who is the father of her son Future Zahir. They were engaged back in 2013 but split up after little Future was born back in May 2014.

Just recently, Future publicly criticised Ciara on his Twitter account (@1future). The rapper called Ciara a "b****" who "got control problems" since she refused to let him see his son. He added that he pays $15,000 a month for child support, but Ciara insists this is not true.
