"Rise and Fall," the first expansion of "Civilization 6," will be coming in just barely two weeks. However, that does not mean that no more news will be coming out for the expansion. It looks like there is more to it than many thought, as the latest reveal is another civ coming to the game. This time, the Mapuche from Chile will be conquering led by Lautaro.

As any civ, Mapuche would have their own unique unit a unique ability, a unique infrastructure, and an ability from Lautaro himself. First off, The Mapuche's unique unit will be the mounted malon raiders. In the game, they get bonus combat when fighting in a friendly territory. They also have reduced movement cost when pillaging.

The civ's unique ability is called Toqui. Simply, they get combat bonus when going against other civs that are in their golden age. Additionally, units who have been trained in cities with a governor will also get experience bonus after combat. On the other hand, Lautaro's ability is the Swift Hawk, which decreases the loyalty of an enemy civ when their units are defeated in Mapuche.

Finally, their unique structure is the Chemamull, which in reality, is a wooden statue believed to be the protection of the spirits of deceased family members. In the game, they give a culture bonus which is equal to 75% of the tile's appeal. As the game goes on, it will also then provide bonus tourism,

In history, The Mapuche and Lautaro were known to be the indigenous tribe in Chile who resisted Spanish colonists back in the 16th century. The war lasted three centuries. Lautaro was first captured only to flee later and start a comeback fight against their colonizers.

The "Rise and Fall" expansion will be released on Feb. 8, 2018. Other new civs include Scotland, The Netherlands, Korea, The Cree, and many others,
