In the latest Sneak Peek event made by developer Supercell, it was confirmed that the upcoming update for the hugely popular "Clash of Clans" title will come tomorrow, Dec. 10.

Apparently, the new version, dubbed Town Hall 11, will introduce a huge number of new features and improvements so much so that it can be considered a major update.

With the last of the Sneak Peeks already done, observers and hardcore players now have an idea what to expect on the major update. Most noted of the new features is the introduction of another level for the Town Hall, bringing the maximum upgrade level to 11.

However, there are other improvements and new features that would be introduced in the upcoming update. According to GottabeMobile, the new update is a definite game-changer, and the improvements include the shield system, introducing a new village guard option. This feature will allow players to leave the game for a bit without engaging shields for fear of attack. In connection to the feature, the update will also unlock a "personal break" option where users will be limited to three hours' worth of continuous online time, to discourage hardcore playing, and also cheaters who are always online during matchmaking.

Aside from the shield changes, the new TH 11 update will also discourage Town Hall sniping. Previously, users only had to target the Town Hall to achieve an automatic one-star win. This time though, attackers would have to field enough number of troops to initiate a sure win.

As with any major updates, the upcoming one will also introduce new items for both offense and defense. The new Town Hall 11 update is expected to also unlock the Eagle Artillery, a third hero known as the Grand Warden, larger village map, reduced periods for war preparations and attacks, and introduce spell donations via the Clan Castle.
