During the 2015 ClashCon, developer SuperCell Games revealed that a new update is coming to "Clash of Clans" soon. No official release date has yet been released, but according to a report from GameZone the update is still on schedule and is expected to release by November or by early December.

The report cites that the developer mentioned on its official Facebook page that the update is still on track and that it will take a few weeks before its release. However, because it stated "weeks" instead of "months," this is an indication that the update will indeed roll out in time.

"We're still working on the update and it's going to take some weeks until its rolled out, but hopefully we'll start releasing some more info on what's coming soonish! We'll keep you guys posted," reads the official response when asked if the game's update was coming out any time soon.

"Clash of Clan" will receive a new Town Hall Level 11, a new hero, a new defensive building and a bigger map that now extends to 44x44 grids. In relation to this, the September update added a new wall that aesthetically looks in tune with the upcoming Level 11 Town Hall.

Unfortunately, SuperCell Games has been otherwise silent regarding the update. However, the report does cite the developers have held an art contest with results that have had many believe the new hero will be a wizard-type. This is still subject to change until SuperCell Games begins to release official sneak peeks at the new content.

"Clash of Clans" originally launched on iOS devices back in 2012 and it was later ported over to the Android market in 2013. The ClashCon, held last Oct. 24, was the first of what is expected to be an annual event. It was during this first ClashCon that the first details for the new update were released to the public.
