Clash of Clan fans are expecting to receive the October update within the next couple of days.Supercell/Clash of Clans

Game developer Supercell is about to release its October update for "Clash of Clans," one of the most popular mobile games available today. The latest patch will include new content, game balancing, and new defense mechanics, among others.

The developer has already announced the things that would arrive with the game when the update rolls out. These include a new Bomb Tower for Town Hall 8, imported from another mobile game of the studio, "Clash Royal." Aside from having an additional defense against ground troops, it turns into a giant bomb once the enemy destroys it.

Additionally, troop level adjustments will be implemented with Dragon, Baby Dragon, and Wizard. The Dragon will now be at level 6 (Town Hall 11), with Baby Dragons adjusted on all levels, and level 6 Wizards will be available starting from Town Hall 9 (previously TH 10).

Defense level adjustments will also happen towards the X-Bow, Mortar, and Hidden Tesla. Players with Town Hall 11 will also receive an extra 25 wall pieces that can be used to reinforce their defenses. Changes will also take effect on several items with their upgrade discounts, either in cost or in creation time. The Hidden Tesla will also receive another level at TH 11 but its double damage will be removed in favor of P.E.K.K.A.

Further game balancing will also arrive in the game that will affect the Witch and Skeleton Spell buffs.

Clan Wars matchmaking will also be fine-tuned. The Clan Wars XP and war loot rules have experienced minor revisions, which will give partial War Win Bonus even on a failed attack, no reduction in bonus points when attacking lower level Town Halls, and a bigger Clan XP reward for beating tougher targets.

The Friendly Wars feature will also arrive with the "Clash of Clans" October update. Players will now be able to add friends using the player profiles, search by using player tags, and Heroes will still act in defense even when upgrading. The friendly challenge can be set to finish at a minimum of 1 hour and can be initiated even as small as a 5 vs. 5 setup.

"Clash of Clans" fans are expecting the October update to arrive any day now.
