"Pokémon GO" has become the most popular mobile game since its release, stealing away the spotlight that once centered on "Clash of Clans." However, the latter is not going to give up, and developer Supercell is going to launch a new update in December to help shift attention back towards "Clash of Clans."

According to Phone Arena, the December update will introduce the Shipwreck ruin or Shipyard, a new section that can be repaired for a high amount of gold. Once repaired, the Shipwreck can be used similar to the main Keep, allowing the players to create sea units like mermaids or ships that can fire water missiles.

It is said that the Shipyard will be unlocked at Town Hall 4, and it will cost a total of 50,000 gold to repair. Although unconfirmed, it is also mentioned that it will come with daily challenges of its own, such as pirate raids that can come in and steal the player's gems.

The Barbarian King statue is also stated to be introduced into the game, and it will cost 500 gold. As for new heroes, the game will reportedly gain both the Red Barbarian King and the Red Archer Queen. It is also likely that new, smaller units that don't cost much gold will also be added into the game.

Sea units are likely to be the main focus of the patch, but it was also pointed out that the update will come with air defense structures. The exact mechanics and nature of these new offense and defense units are yet to be fully revealed to the public.

While these new features for the December update have been detailed all over the Internet, Supercell has yet to officially confirm the content and when the update is officially launching. According to Game N Guide, the update may even be pushed back to early January 2017.
