According to reports, the next "Clash of Clans" update will be coming in the third week of September. This new update will purportedly give new friendly challenges in order to help gamers master the game.

According to the Parent Herald, this new update is going to give improvements to the practice mode and promote practical use, which will help lessen the frustrations players have been experiencing due to the game's past updates. Furthermore, this update will include an updated Town Hall 11 as well as certain nerfs and buffs, free mining gems, improved spells and penalty feature. The last feature is aimed to ensure that the playing field stays leveled, due to the fact that some gamers overuse resources.

Regardless of the promise this new update has, a lot of rumors point out that this game is going out of popularity. After all, Game N Guide points out that the game has received the highest drop in its user base back in July, which coincided with the release of the highly-popular "Pokemon GO" game. As such, the new "Clash of Clans" update seems to be a massive one, as Supercell will stop at nothing to ensure that the game stays afloat.

Some of their more die-hard players are becoming more and more worried about the game getting axed soon. After all, according to one of the latest update of the game's website, the 2016 ClashCon has been officially canceled. Supercell explains that the reason behind this is that they have decided to focus more on improving all their games, which could possibly include this upcoming massive September update.
