'Clash of Clans' update for May adding water troops; may also feature naval battle, multiple villages

The hit massive multiplayer online role-playing game "Clash of Clans" will soon receive a massive update from developer Supercell. The studio recently shared another teaser for the upcoming update.

The latest clip shared shows the Hog Rider character navigating the seas in his little boat. Toward the end, a note that reads "Stay tuned to see what lies beyond your shores" is shown. The teaser does not directly say what will be added to "Clash of Clans," but from the looks of it, the update has something to do with water.

A few gamers have speculated that Supercell could be adding water troops to the strategy video game. One excited YouTube user suggests that water troops could be added. Meanwhile, another user suggests that naval combat could be the title's latest addition to the "Clash of Clans" gameplay.

TBOT believes that the "Change Village" button that has appeared on the game most likely means Supercell is planning to introduce new villages to" Clash of Clans." According to the gamer, one account will soon be entitled to multiple villages.

Gamers do not know for sure about the upcoming additions, but a Supercell forum moderator announces the features that will definitely not come with the update. According to the mod, the update will not include the highly requested Town Hall 12. It will not have level 13 walls as well. Like what the trailer reveals, there will be a boat and it will need some repairs. Moreover, an achievement called "Un-Build It" will be added.

"We know you're super excited to hear news about the upcoming update and what's in it — but for now we are still fine-tuning and testing some features to make sure everything goes smoothly when we are prepared to go live," Supercell shares in a statement.

Although the developers have yet to finish the update, it is slated to debut this May.

"Clash of Clans" is available for download on Android and iOS devices.
