Cleveland Cavaliers NBA news 2015: Eyes on Kevin Love

With a more defined role for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Kevin Love is looking to prove to one and all that he is one of the best forwards to play in the National Basketball Association (NBA). So far, he is on track.

After a woeful season that drew heavy criticism on the all-time forward, Love is making waves right now after finally realizing the expectations from him alongside LeBron James and Kyrie Irving.

So far, he has been the bright spot for the Cavaliers over James, something that the King doesn't seem to mind at all.

Despite the fact that Love is coming off a season-ending right shoulder injury in last year's playoffs, it looks like he has finally fit into the role and is delivering.

Love is getting more touches this year, and he has not disappointed. His numbers are up, the usual ones NBA fans saw when he was still with the Minnesota Timberwolves. And if he stays the course, the Cavs and their fans have a lot to cheer about.

Could this be enough to finally hand the Cavs their first NBA title?

Even though it is still early in the season to assess, the Cavs are certainly looking pretty dangerous.

With an intact lineup and players returning from various injuries, the Cavs seem to have all the right ingredients for a successful season. In all, only a chaotic series of events such as injuries to key players may stop the Cavalier Express right now.

Also, the Cavs haven't stepped on the gas pedal just yet. Like last year, the team is expected to start spewing fire come the latter half of the season and bring that momentum all the way to the playoffs.

Hence, the Cavs could be seeing managed minutes in the early goings particularly on Love and James. Irving is not expected until 2016 and with a healthy lineup by next year, the Cavs are certainly looking good.
