If you caught it last time out, Cleveland Cavaliers head coach David Blatt was in the middle of a crisis. That included a growing level of worry with regards to how the first year coach is handling the multi-talented squad.

However, as far as general manager David Griffin is concerned, Blatt isn't going anywhere.

"Coach Blatt is our coach, he is going to remain our coach" Griffin said during an interview with reporters.

Speculations rose all the more after the Cavaliers dropped a 109-90 decision to the Dallas Mavericks right on their own turf. So Griffin expects the clamors and rumors concerning Blatt to get even louder.

Griffin remains adamant though. Especially with Lebron James sitting for two weeks to allow his injuries (knee and lower back), Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving having their own bout with injuries too, the season isn't exactly kind to the Cavaliers who have been tagged among the favorites for the season.

And of course, do not forget the loss of Anderson Varejao for the season and you have quite a big mess to deal with, Blatt of which is in the middle of it all.

"We're like traveling with the Beatles," Griffin said. "I'm not surprised, but I've been disappointed the slant has been an attempt to be so negative all the time. This is exactly what we said it's going to be: It's a work in progress and we're going to continue to get better every day."

Apparently Griffin knows that a lot of attention on the Cavs ever since James returned. All that escalated of course when they got Kevin Love from the Timberwolves in the offseason. So is it any wonder why Blatt is in the hot seat right now?

The Cavs are in a bind and are scrambling for help. There have been names mentioned but none of all-star caliber. The Cavs did get a $5.2 million trade and a $4.9 million disabled player exception but it remains to be seen if that could come in handy as the Cavs try to find players to help their unlikely predicament heading into the trade deadline.
