Kevin Love has been out of commission after suffering a dislocated right shoulder in the first round of the last NBA playoffs between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Boston Celtics, but it looks like the All Star forward will be up and about once the 2015–16 NBA season kicks off this coming October.

Currently undergoing rehab for his shoulder, Love feels pretty great and feels that he is a month or a month and a half away from taking the hardwood once more. Love made the announcement when he was the special guest at "Late Night with Seth Meyers."

Love will be playing his second season with the Cavaliers despite anxious moments in the offseason. After not doing pretty well and reported rifts with Lebron James last year, Love chose to stick with the Cavs, re-signing for $108.9 million spread over five years last July.

His return becomes a big boost for the Cavs who have Lebron James back as well at least until next year. Most of the players from the 2014–15 roster are back except for Tristan Thompson who continues to hold out for a max contract.

Love's possible early return could likewise be good news for Cavalier fans considering that the team may have to do without point guard Kyrie Irving for the remainder of 2015.

Irving, who went down with a busted knee cap during game one of the NBA Finals against the Golden State Warriors, could debut early; but it seems that the Cavs are not rushing the All-Star guard to return abruptly.

With an almost intact lineup except for Thompson, the Cavs are once again touted as favorites for the coming season in the Eastern Conference. It remains to be seen though how they can size up against the pretty competitive Western Conference teams, especially the retooled San Antonio Spurs who perhaps snagged the best free agent this year in LaMarcus Aldridge.
