Are the Cleveland Cavaliers actually thinking of trading Kevin Love?

That's the hot topic among basketball fans now in the wake of the Cavaliers firing former head coach David Blatt in what's being seen as a series of moves being made to help improve the team.

While Love and Blatt's contracts are not exactly intertwined, there's a belief that the latter's dismissal may also lead to the former's departure.

In a tweet last week, ESPN reporter Brian Windhorst revealed that when the Cavaliers' players were first informed of Blatt's firing, some of them had initially speculated that the meeting was being held to announce that Love had been traded.

Trade rumors surrounding Love had begun circulating again after his lackluster showing against the Golden State Warriors. Love's shortcomings on the defensive end have been problematic throughout his career, and with the Cavaliers gunning for a title, the team may soon find itself needing to make a final decision concerning the former NBA All-Star.

Still, with no clear trade on the table for Love available at the moment, it may take until the deadline before the Cavaliers come up with a final decision regarding whether he stays or goes.

Aside from Love, the Cleveland Cavaliers may also be looking to trade Timofey Mozgov, according to The Inquisitr.

Mozgov was one of the players who helped upgrade the team last year after he was brought on as an in-season trade acquisition.

Things have changed, however, and Mozgov's inability to play well against smaller lineups has also emerged as an issue for the team.

On top of that, new coach Tyronn Lue has also stated that he wants the Cavaliers to play a style of basketball that may not be a good fit for Mozgov.

Lue said that he thinks the team should "play faster," ESPN reported, and that could translate to less minutes being given to Mozgov.

With Mozgov potentially posing a problematic fit for the new up-tempo Cavs, it may just be a matter of time before he gets shipped to another team.
