Cleveland Cavaliers free agency, trade rumors 2016: Kevin Love to be traded off to Nuggets?

Following Clevaland Cavaliers' Kevin Love's less than stellar post season performance last season, talks won't die that the Cavs are looking to trade him to the Boston Celtics.

Now, it seems that a new team has come to play with the Denver Nuggets expressing interest in taking on Love.

According to a post by Sportsragrous, the Nuggets are willing to trade power forward Kenneth Faried for Love, which might prove to be an advantage for both teams.

Faried's fast pace could further improve the offensive game of the reigning NBA champs and his style could perfectly complement that of center Tristan Thompson, Kylie Irving, JR Smith and even King James.

Faried also averages 12.3 points and 8.7 rebounds per game which are pretty impressive figures for 26.6 average minutes per game.

However, the it doesn't seem like the Cavs will agree on a one on one trade for Love as it was reported that they will also be asking for shooting guard Gary Harris to complete the package, according to Fansided.

Still, there are other options for Faried, as he would gel well with teams like Boston, Milwaukee, Portland or even Atlanta.

"I'm hearing that Denver is trying to get off Kenneth Faried, which I think they are, but if they have to move a decent wing to get off Faried and get something good in return, they've got a lot of wings now, the young ones, mid-career ones, take your pick," said ESPN's Zach Lowe recently said in his podcast to reinforce rumors on a trade.

Love, on the other hand can also spark the Nuggets' offensive with his signature plays.

It was reported by Yibada that talks continue about Love's possible trade because as a power forward, he shares the role with LeBron James, and James is being eyed to play the role for extended periods of time especially in high intensity games.

Incidentally, LeBron is currently a free agent along with JR Smith but both are expected to re sign with the Cavaliers to help the franchise defend its title during the upcoming season.
