Christmas Day will be action-packed as a rematch of last season's National Basketball Association (NBA) Finals takes place at the Oracle Arena when defending champions the Golden State Warriors host the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Both of last season's finalists are leading their respective conferences and are riding winning streaks which makes the game more exciting.

The return of All-Star point guard Kyrie Irving to the Cavs' lineup added to the intensity that the showdown will be bringing.

Irving missed almost half a year of action after fracturing his kneecap in Game 1 of the 2015 NBA Finals.

Now that both rosters are complete, they will try to extend their winning streaks but, more than that, battle for bragging rights as their rivalry continues.

The Warriors are heading to the game on a three-game winning streak, also bringing the best record in the Western Conference and in the NBA at 27–1.

In their last win last Wednesday, only one player who saw action was unable to score as a total team effort helped them get past the Utah Jazz, 103–85.

Leading the Dubs were the Splash Brothers, guards Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry, who tallied 20 and 16 points, respectively.

Forward Draymond Green again had an all-around performance, tallying 15 points, nine rebounds, six assists, one steal, and two blocks.

Center Andrew Bogut also played big contributing a double-double 10 points and 13 rebounds that came along with four assists and one rejection.

Meanwhile, the Cavs are riding a six-game winning streak and are aiming to make it seven straight versus Golden State.

In their most recent success, which was a 91-84 victory over the New York Knicks last Wednesday, forward LeBron James led the charge with 24 points, nine rebounds, and five assists.

Helping James was former All-Star big man Kevin Love who had 23 points, 13 rebounds, and two assists.

The win over the Knicks gave Cleveland a 19–7 record to take the lead in the Eastern Conference standings.
