An Eastern Conference battle will take place today, Saturday, when the thriving Cleveland Cavaliers continue their road trip and head to the BMO Harris Bradley Center to take on the Milwaukee Bucks.

After dropping their season opener to the Chicago Bulls, the Cavaliers have not lost in their next eight games, with their most recent success a 90–84 victory over the New York Knicks at the Madison Square Garden last Friday.

Leading the way for last season's runners-up was four-time Most Valuable Player (MVP) LeBron James who exploded for 31 points, also having three rebounds, six assists, two steals, and one block.

Helping James was veteran playmaker Mo Williams who tallied 20 points, two rebounds, and three assists.

Center Timofey Mozgov also had a standout performance for Cleveland recording 11 points, seven rebounds, and one steal.

The Cavs are still on top of the Eastern Conference standings following the win over New York which gave them an 8–1 record.

If the Cavs are currently soaring this season, the Bucks are continuously struggling to find consistency and will head to Saturday's game riding a two-game losing streak.

The Bucks' most recent defeat was a heartbreaker when they fell to the Denver Nuggets 103–102 last Wednesday.

Veteran playmaker Jerryd Bayless led Milwaukee in the loss, scoring 22 points and also tallying two rebounds, four assists, and two steals coming off the bench.

Helping Bayless was offseason addition center Greg Monroe who had a double-double performance of 18 points with 10 rebounds, two assists, and one steal.

Another great game from the bench came from point guard Greivis Vásquez who had 15 points, two rebounds, nine assists, and one steal.

The loss to the Nuggets handed the Bucks a 4–5 record which places them 10th in the East.
